Brakes wont work now???

I installed my 93 cobra master cylinder and the line locks today,fill the resevouir and pedal just keeps pumping no pressure and no leaks either.Any ideas here is a pic of how it's hooked up. peace

It will all get painted again as well.The way it's routed is well you see the M/C goes into the top of the proportioning valve.then the front bottom of the prop valve goes to the "in" on the line locks.then the 2 "out ports" go to each front brake.peace

I would ditch the line lock first to at least get the brakes working normally, then add the line lock. Did u bench bleed?

Ahhh **** no!Forgot all about bench bleeding it first!But the fluid level isnt moving when i have been pumping them....Think i really need toremove it and bench bleed it? peace

Jack the rear of the car up and try to get the MC level. You might be able to get it to bleed out that way. Worth a shot.

Otherwise, gotta take it out and bench bleed it

yes you need to bench bleed before going any further. that will solve a lot of problems and questions later on. I ran into a lot of issues when I swapped to 5 lug and starting from the top down fixed all the issues. If you dont it just compounds at each component. good luck.

Ok last time i benched bled a M/C i was 17,so to make sure it's correct?Take the M/C off fill it with fluid and push the plunger in till both ports flow?peace
