I currently installing 01 cobra front brakes and 94 cobra rear disks on my93 vert......I want to run 9" wide wheels. Does anyone have this combo running 9" or should I settle for 8". I know all about the wider stance with the newer stuff and I would rather keep all the wheels the same size. any help would be great.

thanks

It's gonna be tight in the rear. Your tires may hit the fender lips.

You can pull the rear wheels in if you use th4e North Cobra rear brackets and 5-lug Fox-lenght axles in the back. This will allow you to run the Cobra rear disks while keeping Fox track and allow you to run 9" wheels easier.

The Directions with the M2300-K kit say you can run a 9" wheel out back as long as it has 6.42" of backspace.

I'm running '03 Cobra rims with Fox length axles, 9" rim with 7.11 " of back spacing if i remember correctly. With 275/40 tires there is some rubbing under moderate cornering, either on the quad shock or the wheel well. But it does clear the fender lip nicely.

is 7.11 backspacing factory or special order?

You know you can flip your Quad shocks to gain a little bit more clearance.
