Break in period for new lifters?

But if you swapped heads, they do require a short break in period for the valve guides. Its also a good idea if you install new non-roller rockers that use a sled-fulcrum (i.e. factory style)

Eh, this wasn't your average by the book head swap....it was straight out of the redneck how-to book....reused head bolts and all. As long as it lasts until i finish my other engine, i could care less. It's running like a bat out of hell right now so i can't complain.

Now i just have to retorque the stupid header bolts  F'in MAC headers FTMFL :notnice:

SS ARP header studs will take care of that. Not cheap though
