Anyone else notice this? You can backdoor the option by specifying the 19" wheels but the brembo package is formally gone.

Anyone know if this is a goof on the site or maybe Ford temporarily stopped offering the package given the slowdown on cars ordered with that option?

It could be they had a problem in production mode and cancelled the option. Maybe that is why they've been delayed? I don't know. I do know that, when I used to race jet skis, this sort of thing happend with a ski that was made specifically for racing. The production unit turned out to be very different than the prototypes and still and issues. Several of the suppliers were aftermarket companies (liek Brembo)who typically don't make a ton of the same part. They had quality control issues when faced wtih the job of making a large amout of product very quickly to be put into the MFR process. Id didn't work. Many of the parts failed on production units and let to a huge QC problem for the manufacturer.

I don't know if this is what is happening here, but it is a thought. Aftermarket companies are not used to producting product in large quantities in the time frame a large manufacturer like Ford would demand.

With Brembo producing brakes for Evo's, Sti's, and coming starndard on all SS Camaro's. Not to mention the other brakes they supply, I wonder if other companies are experiencing the same slow down if that is what happened

brembo has been making brakes for nearly every automotive manufacturer for a while. they have their own foundries and everything. i can't think of why they couldn't keep up with the mustang stuff. crap happens, maybe somebody goofed big, got fired, and the company is correcting the issue.
