I am going to have to agree with Bimmertech on this one, I would send those rotors back if the veins are as you say.

:nice:

there is a strong possibility that the cooling vains are straight, then it doesn't matter--other than looks.

if he says his instructions say to mount it that way then i believe him, it is just a little unusual to me.

how about this one, which way is right here? :D

Guys, I have those same brakes. He has the slots going the right way. He is 100% correct, so dont knock him for it any more. The rotors even have arrows pointing to the front of the car. I made the mistake of thinking that I put them on wrong and switched them. Now I have to switch them back, not too much of a PITA because I plan on doing my rims up before I hit the road again. Since winters still here in NE I have to sit around and wait until things clear up and I can re-register my car.

These brakes we have are Killer. I have slotted rotors and Brembo pads on my rear as well. With my Cobra r's (that everyone else has...) my front brakes are pretty tight on clearance, but they look sweet. They fill up the wheel soo well. I would suggest going to Baer's website and following their brake break in procedures. If I remember correctly, Brembo didnt have much info on how to break these puppies in or even install them... Its too bad, they are so expensive-customer service should be there but it wasnt when I did my install.

Oh and FYI, When you need to get replacement rotors/pads whatever, check out Maximum Motorsports. I got all my stuff from them when I replaced my rotors/pads for the first time. At the time they had the best prices and they had products readily available-no waiting!
I love my brakes so much. I cant count the amount of times they have saved my life-seriously. I like high speeds but sometimes I have went too far and if I had my stock brakes I wouldnt be here to type this reply.
If you have any q's you can PM me, I've changed my brakes 3 times but only bled the lines once.

Oh yeah, did you get any shims with your kit? I didnt and luckily I didnt need them but that was a big question I had when I first opened up the boxes.
