Are there special pads or do any after market brake pads work
( I ask because the car I bought has the setup but the brakes are sqeaking bad and I have an aftermarket set of hawks already)

mine started squeaking after a hotlap session yesterday. i am running the stock Galpher pads, those are the ones mustang5l5 showed you. they are very good comprimise pads. the hawks have been known to squeak a bit. i am thinking of trying Carbotech pads for my next set, or at least trying to find a set that will be the same front a rear.

wait, what brembo setup are you talking about? i have 4 piston brembo calipers? if you mean a cobra kit with brembo rotors, then you dont have true brembo brakes. you have brembo rotors with pbr calipers.

I was about to say the same thing.

Whyask, do you have a 2000 Cobra R 4-piston Brembo setup or a run of the mill 2-piston Cobra setup???

SHow us a pic

oh ya.... my list is as follows ( just bought the car 50,000 miles)

Brake Fluid Flush and replaced
Coolant Flushed and refilled
Trans flushed and refilled
Dif. Flushed and refilled
Fuel Filter change
Oil change with filter change
New Belt
New Plugs
K&N drop in air filter
Brake pad change

Sound good to me
