Bringing dad's old Boss back to life

Very nice example IMO
Do you know if that fuel line and carb inlet is stock?
I have never seen a fuel inlet on the drivers side or the transfer tube on the RH side
I have a 69 but none of that was stock on mine
I wish I would have known your dad
I got a bunch of parts for mine from the dealer back in the day too
New Magnum 500 wheels for 58 bucks a piece for instance

That is how they come.
His 69 Boss 302 is the same

Very nice car! I mostly hang out in the foxbody forums but came to say hi to a fellow Mainer.
Lemme show you something cool.

Quick update,
Car is back on the road, spent the summer cleaning and tinkering with small projects.
Did a paint correction and steam cleaned the entire interior last week while I was on vacation. Car looks great for 32 year old paint.
I think dad would approve

Polished the Magnums up a bit and got some new tires. Also gave the shaker base and snorkel a quick polish

Over 50k.... But I did get the matching number transmission, rear drop out and original heads with it so there is that. All the matching # stuff had been replaced with Boss 302 parts anyway so I now have extra parts. It has some nice original options including a shaker, tach, magnums , console and fold down rear seat, PS PDB. The only major original drivetrain parts I'm missing are the driver side exhaust manifold and correct distributor. Running a Mallory presently. Had the original Trans, a special order wide ratio, rebuilt and ready to put in now. Rebuilt the original Holley carb and rear brakes, shocks, upper and lower A arms, all tie rods, sway bar bushings, heater core and cables, new fuel tank and new Carter fuel pump etc etc.... Now I need to decide if or when I'm going to do a paint and interior restoration. But for now I think I'll leave that till a later date.... and just drive it occasionally!
