I was locking the door to my place when I hear a piece of metal hit the floor. I look at my key chain and there is half of my mustang key. I'm like ****! I have a regualer non-PATS key and I'm just curious so I see if it'll work. I take it out there put it in and I held the half of my key up near the steering column and bam, the car starts right up. Hell yeah. Now I gotta go buy a new PATS key, anyone had to do this? Can they just cut me a key from my spare and program it to my computer??? I know the key costs quite a bit.
