Amen to Sanchez. It's rare that a thrown rod doesn't do some ugly damage. I've seen them go through the side of the block. At the low end, and probably unlikely, is a straight rod replacement. At the high end, the block could be trash, too. You just have to see what the damage is. Take the pan off and look; it shoudln't be that hard if it's just sitting around on a crate. Turn it over, take the pan off, after draining oil while still upright of course, and look. Block and/or cylinder damage is pretty obvious. If you can see it and feel it; not good. Also, if the bearing froze up, you'll have crank damage, too. Lots of possibilities, here, from cheap to very expensive. Carefully evaluate that motor by looking at it. Take the rod cap off, too, and look at the crank.
Maybe you'll get lucky.
