Broken COP bolt

One of my COP bolts broke off in the manifold. I was able to remove the bolt but then the tap broke in the hole. Does anyone know of way to securely hold down the COP without pulling the manifold and having a machine shop fix it? Surely you can make a bracket or something. Any ideas?

Car is a 2001 Bullitt

get a reverse drill bit. that should take it out

tried it. Mainly don't have a good enough drill bit to drill through the snap on tap

Isn't the thread hole just a brass insert? Is it possible to pull the whole thing out and replace?

bolt screws into intake. Intake is aluminum with no insert.

if there is no insert measure it out and install a heli coil.

let me try to explain this again. The hole, which is part of the intake on my bullitt, has a broken tap which I cannot drill out.

can you take a pic of it? So if the Tap is stripped out then you can retap it. with the next size up and buy a bolt for it.

the cop should sit there just fine.
if youve ever bought a duralast cop ya'll know what i mean. they have no 5/16 mount at all. since theyre generic for all the mods.

Then you got the wrong part, there is two parts that autozone recommends for PI 4.6's one has a mount with the COP, the other doesn't.

my COP bolt was just spinning in the hole when i tried to remove it out a while back, so i just cut the head of the bolt off. now the COP is just resting on what's left of it. it doesn't give me any trouble at all
