i hope someone can help me. i just installed a 70mm pro. products TB on my 89 lx, and now either under acceleration or in 5th at round 1800rpm is bucks. under acceleration it is pretty rough. i have checked for vaccume leaks, and all other connections, and everything seems to be fine. now i have not installed the EGR plate yet so i am still running the stock one. i am also gettin a check engine light that flashes on and off every now and then. i will be gettin tha checked out here in a few mins. just wanted to check with you guys first to see if yall had any ideas. thanks ahead of time!!:bang:

yea i checked that too. and readjusted it. it says its suppose to be between .90-.95v it is set a .926v. when i first put it on it run fine.(that was last fri.) it started runnin funny sat. nite on my way hm. so today i took everything off checked gaskets, re-checked the TPS voltage, and everything seemed fine. really weird problem!

hmmmmm... do you have a way of checking the Fuel Pressure- I put a phenolic spacer on one of my cars and it threw the Fuel Pressure off and it started bucking... I also found bad vacuum lines at the same time though. My money would be on Vacuum Leak or Fuel Pressure. Good Luck Mang!

think is was bad gas guys! i let a buddy of mine drive it roundfor like 15miles and it never bucked once. i just put some new 93+114 in it. and the check eng. lite has not been on either. thanks for ur input though:SNSign:

a 70 is a lil too big...i will agree with you on that one. i have a trickflow track heat upper/lower on the way and a 75mm mass.air w/24lb injectors. i just wanted to put on what i already had in my hands. you know what its like to have new parts, cant wait to put them on.
my car is mostly stock, it is a 306 with speed pro forged pistons, stock cam and heads, stock intake. bbk equal lenghts, mac h-pipe and two chamber flowmasters. and a 3:73 gear. its a good start though.
