Bucking/Surging/Dying question

My car was fine until I installed the intake. After the intake install, I get an occasional surging/dying, and it is very random. It will do it cold under light throttle(surging/bucking), it will do it when its hot(surge/die at idle), but it doesn't do it all the time. There aren't vacuum leaks anywhere that I can find. I just wondered if the pcm can't compensate for the additional airflow? Oh, and I did clean the maf for the heck of it. Thanks for any suggestions, Will

Whats the procedure for that? I don't remember exactly what all there is. I searched the forum and can't find it. Thanks, Will

Disco the neg batt cable

Step on the brakes or honk the horn for about 5 seconds

Re-connect the batt cable

Remove both battery terminals.....take them and touch them to each other...this will drain all power from the EEC...Reconnect and let it idle for 5 mins or so....take it out for a ride...It may stumble a tad while learning, but will usually come out of it in a short ride..

Did you remove your IAT sensor for any reason? Did you clean your MAF before or after you noticed this problem.

Remove your upper intake and check all of your vacuum line connections under the intake, and also check your injectors and make sure the plugs are seated all the way.

I can't imagine anything else you could have messed with.

Check your oil and make sure you don't have any coolant in there. It will look like milk chocolate if there is.
