budget 351W

My goal is to run 12.50 for less than 2.5k. Here is what we/I have come up with.

351W stock rods, crank, heads- free

.040 rebuild kit-500

either a set of 70 heads or gt40 heads- free

aftmkt cam kit- 300

ford racing intake pn:c90x-9424 a - free

650 cfm holley- dunno didnt check them out yet lol

100-150 shot nitrous kit- 400ish

set of shorties and non catted x pipe. 200

straight through mufflers 120

ghetto suspension setup
-swaybar removed
-4 cyl springs up front stock springs cut in the rear
-stock boxed control arms
-new bushings on the stock rear control arms

M/T ets- 350

no ac, no smog.

that comes out to approximentaly $1900

is it possible or am I getting too optomistic?

any advice or bashin is welcomed!

I built my 351W for $1,800. It goes 12.60-70's on motor. $1,800 was just for the motor.

You should meet your goals and exceed it i think with that NOS shot.

I built a 331 for $1300 that runs 12.3 on motor and high 10's on spray.

do you think i can do it without the nitrous? What do you think I could run with nitrous? Its a stock t-5 tranny btw.
