Hey guys. Im trying to do a nice quick budget build. i bought a decent 90 roller for $500. car was a gt, and is still wired and has the 9al, decent leather interior. has good 8.8 with 3.73s. a buddy of mine had a 93 5.0ho in his shed and gave it to me for free. i tore it down and cleaned it up a honed it. found a bad score in cyl 7 so i called a buddy who has a machine shop and hes taking it .030 over for 160 bucks helluva deal. so i need to decide how i wanna build it. and i wanna see how cheap i can do so, with junkyard parts and whatnot. so i was thinking explorer top end, match ported. 70 mm mass air off a 94-95. i still need an ignition system, injectors, throttle body, and hopefully an electric fan. let me know what you think guys!

you can to the taurus fan deal, GT40 heads, explorer intake, get a cheap cam, and the MAF TB off a donor car and have a decent budget build. Lot of guys do it
If you're talking cheap build pull the top end off the exploder with the injectors still attached, leave the stock ho cam in. Its a great piece that will work well with the explorer parts.
