As far a bearings you'll need pinion and carrier bearings. You'll also need a new crush sleeve, pinion seal, and pinion and carrier shims. I'm getting ready to do one for a guy and he picked up a nice kit on 50 resto that comes with FMS gears and the intall kit included. And don't forget gear oil. The girdles look cool, don't know how much they help but I have the T/A on mine and really like it. It's nice having a drain plug so you can change the oil w/o removing the cover. My initial response was off, I missed that you were replacing the carrier.

go wtih a good aftermarket diff cover/girlde, like the FMS, Downs Ford, MAC, etc etc...

then you should do c-clip elims or 9" ends for a stronger rear.
