I bought a block with brand new stock crank and rods, but it has dished forged pistons shipped for less than 600... I will be selling the crank and rods. I jus bought forged rods wit ARP 2000 bolts shipped for 301 bucks. And I was winning bidder on ebay for a cobra crank for 280 dollars but he never e-mailed me back. I was looking at the windage tray and main support. But I will never have slicks and I will never road race so I dont think the windage tray would do a whole lot for me. I am interested to getting some high rwhp numbers but you think the main support is really worth it??? These blocks seem stronge to begin with(GT block of course)??? Billet oil pump gears is a definate from me. ARP head studs too. Anything else i should do??? I will be buying a helms or chilton to help me out on putting all this together. I need to save a lot of money but still do it right. How much HP you think this block can handle???

well it sounds like you have it pretty much covered there. and for the "how much power will it handle" question, unless your going all out drag car, it should handle all your going to throw at it
