Building my 2 valve..

I'll be pulling my windsor 2 valve out this week for a rebuild.. I'm installing a set of manley rods, and pistons..

What is the combustion chamber volume (CC's) for the 2 valve 2000 model PI heads? I have a piston with a 18cc dish..

Pretty sure it is 42cc's.
Don't forget to have the crankshaft balanced when you have all of your parts.

Thanks guys.. That gives me right at 9:1 C/R with a 18cc dish.. which is perfect for what I'm doing.

out of curiosity, did you grenade your stock shortblock or are you just doing this before anything happens?

Nah.. she still runs strong.. Just clicked over 80K miles though, so, I figure it's about that time. She gives a little puff of smoke on startup, after sitting for a while.. so, the valvestem seals are probably starting to go as well. No reason to trash a good Windsor motor.. so, I'll rebuild it before it comes apart. Besides.. 400whp is getting kinda boring..

you sure it's just the seal? we had to knurel(SP?) my bro's supra's valve giudes

Might be the guides too.. I'll know for sure when I get it torn down..
