Bullit or Mach 1 shocks and struts?

My car is a 2000GT with Ford B springs and I want to upgrade the shocks and struts from the stock el-cheapo Ford Mustang GT system to the Tokico system like on the Bullit or Mach 1.

I just priced out the shocks and struts for a Bullit and a Mach 1 and the price difference is $100 more for the Bullit set. Anyone know why?

The price is around $165 for the Mach 1 and $265 for the Bullits (all 4 included). A friend of mine has Bilsteins and raves about them, but they're pricey.

Any thoughts.

The Bullitt dampers are valved for handling, while the Mach suspension is set-up for more of a strret/strip feel.

The difference in the cost of making each is about 25 cents, so I'm sure to someone that justifies a $100 price difference.

just to jump in here, Strat GT. Where are you pricing these out at?

are you looking to get just shocks and struts or more?

I got the price from Fordpartsnetwork.com and the actual Mach 1 struts and shocks total $196.00.

I already have the the Ford B springs installed and they're quite nice. The B springs give my car the stock Bullit stance (look wise) and I like that look. Not to low, but just high enough for speed bumps and stuff like that. I also have upr and lower control arms that really help the rear end with traction, so again things are ok there. However, once I installed the upr/ lwr control arms along with the springs, my quad shocks started leaking. I assume that since the spring install, the stock shocks/struts will deteriate quickly. Hence the Mach 1 upgrade.
