bullits on 5 lugs

i searched this site and still am a bit confused  so i apologize. there seems to be mixed opinions and solutions about this. i am assuming that bullit wheels will only fit on s/n95 5-lug swaps, but then i read the solution to the dust cap not clearing, is to pound on it with a hammer or grind it down. has anyone done this and do you think it would work? any info would be greatly appreciated and thank you for your wisdom :hail2: :hail2:

the sn95 swap is the way to go i just finshished mine and the car rides and handles better plus the it pushes the wheels out a little further.and all mustangs should have discs in the rear.drums look stupid through the wheels

disc cost more too. I am thinking of running a setupout of a 98 GT rear end but I am not sure how I would do the e-brake just yet.
You can get the 3 Ford Motorsports cables and modify your handbrake to M2300K specs.

Bullits wont fit on a fox body with the
non sn95 body style conversion ? i have the 5 lug conversion w/ the drum (untill i get the loot for the baer kit) brakes and i wanted to put bullits on it . im guessing from reading this there is an issue with fitment ?????

The SN95 conversion doesn't use inner and outter bearings and races like the Foxes have. The cheap conversion means that you still have that outter bearing sticking way out and the dust cap won't clear many of the SN95 wheels. It interferes. On some wheels it will just stick out so you can't use a center cap. On other wheels the diameter of the hole is the problem.

So what do most of you guys do to swap to sn95 brakes in the rear, besides changing the whole rear axle (what I plan on doing)?
So wait, you are or are not planning on swapping a whole rear?

It is a direct bolt in if you want to go that way. I did. You just need the right cables from FRPP and modify your brake handle-done. Just make sure you have the righ mastercylinder in place, too.

i have 95 R's on my 87 LX and they fit fine but i want to go bullit so i guess im gonna have to get the baer kit faster than i expected ....so much for vacation this year ....''sorry hunny we cant go on vacation this year ...i need to put brakes on my car ''
