Besides any serious mods you decide to do to either car would require upgrading most of the components anyway (save for the intake if you get the Bullitt)....unless of course you went with some sort of positive displacement blower like a Kenne Bell, Eaton or Whipple...in which case the upper manifold would need to be removed with either car anyway.
What….you didn't think that big hunk of an aluminium intake, the fancy interior, Cobra brakes and all the billet crap comes without a weight penalty, did you? Check it out....there's about a 100-150lbs difference in weight between the Bullitt and the standard GT.Nick3561 said:extra weight?

Not to nit-pick, but the weight difference is about 160lbs.
