I was thinking of getting the Bullitt suspension. Just wondering if anyone is running it and if they like it. Pics would be nice too. THANKS

i have it and i love it. it made a huge difference over stock. no more nose dive while braking, alot less body roll, and even the ride is better.

you can get it for a bit cheaper. check www.gefracing.com and www.stangstore.com . Its a better performing package, but i'd get bilstein shocks for the rear. i will be replacing mine later

They are different than the C springs. C springs are a little rougher riding in front and drop the car 1.5" front, 1" rear about.. The bullitt springs drop .75" all aroundADRENLN said:

I've had my Bullitt kit for about a year and a half. We also replaced the stock rubber bushings and isolaters with Energy Suspension polyurethane goodies. It really tightened things up very nicely! It's a little tougher to launch at the track now but the improvement in handling and everyday driving manners was well worth it. I just discovered yesterday that my RR shock is leaking though... probably a good time to switch to some Tokico adjustables.

Uhhhh.... is this a trick question? Oh, wait.... you're thinking gas charge leak. what I can see is the oil leaking down the shock, not real bad though.wms004 said:

I have also had the bullitt suspension for about two years now...and it is definately better than stock and offers a half ass drop...it's noticable but barely. If your looking for a good looking drop you might want to go with some different springs...but if you want something right in the middle of stock and a good drop then this would be the one 
other than that the ride is great and for the price when I got it...it couldn't be beat. I have some pics I will post in as soon as I find them.

I would say the only real negative that I can think of is the fact that it only lowers about an inch. I mean for the price you can't get a better ride IMO I paid around $330 ish shipped...I got it when it first came out from Gefracing.com
The ride is a little more bouncy or tight not really sure how to put it...it's nothing harsh..I really like it. Like I said my only real complaint is the fact that it's not lower....but cornering is better, less nose dive when stopping..the car is just a tighter feeling overall.

Interesting. My LR shock is bleeding to death as well... Problem with the Bullitt suspension? Oh, and finding a dealer with those particular shocks is a *****. Anyone have the bullitt setup with rear bilsteins? Might consider switching....

I'd say it's probably a fairly uncommon problem but even at that, it sucks. I've been thinking about switching to adjustables anyway so I can alter them from daily driving duty to dragstrip duty so I guess this is just another reason to carry that out. If you haven't replaced your leaky one by the time I get my new ones, I'll let you have my good one at an extraordinarily cheap rate.Mama's Boy said:
