I got a set of bullitt valve covers i'm going to put on with the bullitt intake swap. I need some help with figuring these covers out.

Q1) Is there another piece that fits on top of the oil fill spout, or does the oil fill cap just pop on as it sits in this pic... (dont have a oil cap, so i cant tell)

Q2) I assume that big hole in the 2nd valve cover is for the PCV valve. But the PCV valve i have is a lot smaller than that hole and it just falls thru. Is there some sort of PCV valve holder that goes on the valve cover that i'm missing?

well i figured out that these covers take a push in style pcv, so i need a rubber pcv grommet.

Still cant figure out whats up with the oil spout. my oil cap from my 02 is too wide & wont fit. plus there are no visible threads on the spout the way it sits so i dont understand how a oil cap would even screw on.

the bullitt covers have driver side oil fill so the intake can clear the spout. This is also the same as the 96-98 GT valve covers. The rest of the years for the romeo engine all have passanger side oil fills. So Therefore the spout is different and so is the oil fill cap. I"ll check with Ford dealer tomorrow for a new cap.

Hey,those cam covers look very familiar!!LOL
Since i took that pic,and stripped the covers to paint,i can answer some questions for you.;)
You need the oil cap from any early model romeo 4.6L,when i mean early,i mean early 90's to late 90's crown vics, lincolns, mercury grand marquis that have the 2V 4.6L which have the romeo driver side oil fill cam covers,or any early sn95 mustang gt before '99 model year ast they also have the driverside oil fill cam covers. Not all oil caps are the same.Ford did change them.
There is a rubber gromment for the pcv (the big hole in the 2nd pic),but i was able to re use my pvc from my '03 GT even though it is designed to be a twist on, it still seals very well. :nice:

Sweet, Thanks for the info.:nice: Yeah, your pic is so much better than the one i took of mine, lol. I'm hoping the ford dealer can help out with the oil cap and grommet tomorrow, otherwise i'll hit up auto parts stores or junkyards.
