Hey guys.

Well, the 66 is almost ready for the summer. Once my hand gets better I can put the wheels on and setup the alignment. I redid all the suspenstion with your typical shelby drop and 620 coils. Running 17x7 tt2.

I plan on setting the alignment with 1-1.5* neg camber, hopefully 2* caster and 1/8th toe in. I know these cars are known for bad bump steer.

Has anybone used the baer tracker kit? fix the problem? ( i think dodgestang used these..did you?).

I noticed pro-motorsports is suppose to totally eliminate bs, but is another 100 and looks fugly.

any info/comments/experience would be great.

I went with the Baer Tracker kit. Installed it a month ago, haven't driven the car since (at paint shop). I bought the kit from jegs or summit a year ago for about $160. If I did it over I'd buy from Dallas Mustang for only $110.

If you want more caster, the adjustable strut rods should help but they are way more money. I have the Global West ones.

wow. nice find. 110 bucks.

Ya, i'm going to wait for the adjustable rods. Might redo susp. with coil/overs in a year or two.

Now, i've read how to make a homemade bump steer gauge and how to find out how much to adjust it/etc. But has anybody here done it themselves? I know its going to take a full day in the garage.
