bumper on v6

have a 1999 stang v6 and i have a couple of questions

1. I have heard that you cannot use an oem cobra or gt bumper on a v6 stang because mounting points are different. Is this true?

2. Does anyone one know the stock location for a foglamp switch on a 99

3. i just bought a 03 cobra rear bumper for my v6. Are there any adjustments i am going to have to make to my rear end to make it fit? (other than getting rid of the stupid single tip factory exhaust)

i am posting this thread here aswell as the svt forum because i was told i would have better luck getting answers here. Sorry if i upset people for posting the same thing in more than one spot

mounting points are the same

stock location should be on the bottom of the dash, in front of the shifter OR (behind e-brake handle)

The 03 cobra bumper will bolt up just fine.......but I'd fill in the COBRA letters to keep from being a poser

foglamp switch is in the center console, around your ebrake. im getting rid of my 02 center console to get a 99-00 one, i like it better

the switch goes in one of the coin slots. There should be two coin slot thingys, you pop one out for the fog lamp switch and it fits directly and exactly in.

Linz, your 01 v6 only has 180 hp? I thought it came stock with 193????
