by the way, why the **** are there no guardrails next to that water? can you fish in there?
same here.
That's why i leave the seat belt chime on in my car. If i forget to put it on, i get a reminder.
I actually feel naked if i drive without my seatbelt on. It won't "feel right" and i'll have to stop and put it on....even if i'm literally driving 200-300 feet.
I can't go 1/4 mile down the road to my buddy's house without my belt on. I feel like i'm going to fall out of my seat if it's not on. It's really a good habit to have especially in a vert.

When my kids were younger around 5-6 yrs old (now they are 10 and 13), They would not buckle upeven though we had always made them. I warned them that they should always buckle up. I would tell them how they could fly through the window or something..They would giggle like I was teasing. I gave them a good lesson in my explorer. Little butts slide off leather seats real fast when Dad mashes the break pedal at say 10 mph....... I told them, "That was only 10 mph now imagine if it was 50... Now BUCKLE UP!!"
After a few times of picking themselves off the floorboard they learned to buckle up right away. And they still do.![]()
