I've been told that the first thing you should do when you get a car, is slice the boots open on the ball joints and tie rods. The guy I talked to said the boots get water in them, and every time he cuts one open water and dirty grease comes out. I always thought busting the boots was a bad thing, but maybe not? What do you guys have to say?
