Theres a huge difference between getting a cobra of any year and getting a GT of any year. The Cobra has so much more potential than the GT does. I'm just saying that no matter what year GT u get of the 4.6 you can make them equal with just the PI head swap. So like I said before it all comes down to the money issue. If you can find a 99+ GT for a good price then get that and save yourself the trouble of the PI head swap, but if you can find a really good deal on a 96-98 GT dont be scared to get it because people tell you that they are crap and cant compare to the 99+ GT's. If you can definetely pick up the cobra though DOHC 32V are amazing especailly when it comes to boost.

Also...was there a big diff in SOTP feel with the pi intake and cams? I wanna improve the top end...but cant dish out all that cash for the heads.
