some people just don't have the right frame of mind for see the potential in a car. I have been looking for a notch for a long time and would have loved to be in your shoes. I wouldn't have even posted the question on here. For $500 bucks...... I would have bought it and made it a keeper. I love notches. One day I will have one. Hopefully someday I will come across the situation that you came across. $500 ...... you lucky SOB. if you have second thoughts give me a call LOL . Good catch by the way.

I feel the same way for my ragtop as you do for the notch. I have put much more money into my stang than I can ever get on resale but it dont matter. I get so much more out of it then I could ever put into it. Sure I could buy a really nice stang for about half the money I put into mine but it wouldnt be the same and less than half the fun for me.

We had a Blazer that was a salvage title it was reconstructed title actually. Any way it was flooded and my father fixed it and cleaned it out perfect. We drove it around for 8 years. Then when it came time to sell we couldnt get 800 dollars for it because it was an R-title.... Long story short after being parked in front of the house for 2 months with no buyer some kid doing like 80 up our hill hit it and totaled it. His insurance company gave us 2500 for it. They diddnt ask if it was an R-title they just handed the money over.

Did you thank him and offer to send him flowers in the hospital?

Actually I may be selling it as I have way too many stangs right now, but I just cant stop taking them in. I'll get some pics up soon of it. I am kinda in a unique situation in that I have a friend with a salvage business/tow company and he does lein sales all the time and he knows I love stangs so he kinda gives me first shot when he gets em. SO I come across these deals alot. If you lived closer maybe we could work something.

For 500 dollars i really dont think it matters. You can always part out whatever you put into it. I really dont think you can go wrong here.
