buying an 8.8 assembly with 373's. quick question

what attaches to the top of the assembly? Is it control arms? Im asking because i dont want to throw old crap back on with the new assembly. Buying it from 50resto by the way. also what other parts will i need to throw the old axles back in the tubes? seals,etc? Thanks

Yes, upper control arms attach to each side of the center section. If it does not come with new axle seals, I would certainly put in new ones as well as axle bearings, pinion seal, and if you have to use your old axles, I would get some axle fluid, friction modifier, and silicone.

if you plan on running the car at a track anytime in near future with stock axles and that 8.8 you should look into some c-clip eliminators as well while you have the rear end out of the car..its alot easier to do...if you run aftermarket axles or bearing ends then you wont need them..just my .002
