buying first tuner..... dyno instead? need answers fast!!!

well i need what ever tuner is easiest to use. do they have to be flashed before using? do i have to hook this up to my computer AT ALL to change things like gear ratios and stuff? is there one that you select the mods you have and it adjusts acordingly??

if i have to pay to have it flashed (meaning its not ready to go out of box) or have to us my computer an do all this crap i dont understand- illjust have thecar dyno tuned for gods sake. ...

thinking of going with a diablo... whats everyones thoughts???

handheld tuners plug right into your car and easily adjust things like gear ratios without any hassle. If you want to get more detailed like timing/fuel then you may need to interface with your PC to download the correct parameters to your tuner.
Diablosport or Xcalibrator are the 2 most popular

yeah they are a plug and play as far as what brand go with what your local tuner is more familiar with or has easy access to download upgrades form the company (diablo sport or SCT)
