Should i get the 1 Inch spacer, he said that way i can take off my vavle covers with out taking the upper off.

Will i loose performance by doing this?

O and i think i need lifters don't know what kind please help me out.

Should I get a 1 inch spacer for my intake?

If I do will it hurt performance?

I have an after market hood so clearence in not a problem.

I'd say do it yourself. If the engine is assembled and you've got all the old stuff out, you should be able to start it after breakfast and have it running by supper time ...all depends on how many extra trips you have to make to pick up the little things nobody ever remembers 'til they need

I know this will be a 4day operation just because of all the little things ill need that i dont know yet.

Like how abo puting the cam in? never done it before so what lube do i need to slide it in?

Are you getting a short block? or do you have to assemble everything?
