I am presently using a C&L 73MM air meter for 86-93 Mustang. I am running Ford Racing 24LB injectors. And a A9L ecu. The C&L has a CLEAR sample tube in it now for 24LB injectors.
Here is the question. I have seen on C&L's calibration chart that for a 86 - 93 Mustang using an A9L processor, using 24lb injectors, an ORANGE sample tube is needed. Now LATE MODEL RESTO shows on their calibration chart for the same air meter you use a BLUE tube. As the case may, be the chart showes the clear tube I have now is for a 73MM C&L meter for a '93 Cobra.
Until I decide wether to go to a different air meter, I am going to continue to use the C&L. I want the right air meter set up for my combo. What is the CORRECT color of tube I need for my C&L right now?
