I've had the C&L plenum joined with the stock TB for a few months now and everything's been ok. But yesterday I removed the stock TB only and installed the AccuFab 75mm TB.

The plenum was left alone, I did re-use the stock plenum/TB gasket, and I did re-check all my inlet connections - all are good and tight.

However, with this new setup I can hear a distinct slurping sound when on the gas, even just a little bit.

My question is for others with this setup: Is this new 'slurping' sound with this combo normal or does it sound like a leak?

(Thought I'd ask others before I tear it apart just to find out it's normal.)

Thanks in advance

If it idles and runs fine, then the Slurping , is the noise it makes, not a leak.

When I installed my Dragon TB/Plenum my car it did the same thing. I talked to the rep @ Dragon and he said it was normal, you are hearing the air being sucked into the plenum.
My car also idles/runs great, so I haven't worried about it, sound stupid though.

I have the same set up and it "slurps" as well. It's normal.
