I had a C&L Plenum and Accufab TB installed earlier today. I took it home and everything seemed okay. Now I took it out a few hours later and there seems to be a hissing noise. It only hisses when I first step on the pedal. It sounds almost like air escaping somewhere. I just want to know if it's typical and has anyone else has dealt with this or should I look for a loose hose or something. Thanks.

heheh........ Are you certain that the EGR is still connected to the intake? I don't even know if you would need to remove it for that install but I thought I would ask. I had a similar problem after I installed my longtubes but I knew what it was right away.

Everything looked to be connected but I'll check again in the day light. I saw in another post that they also had the hissing so maybe they all do it.

Get used to it. Even the stock setup hisses a bit. With my C&L and 75mm T/B i can really notice it.

After installing my BBK CAI and TB, I noticed it, too. It's normal.

No I don't have any numbers for you sorry. Throttle response is much smoother and quicker. I didn't really push it yet but there's no doubt you can feel a difference.

It's normal. I had it with my UPR cai and BBK 70mm TB setup. I still have it (though now quite as loud) with my new C&L/Accufab/Pro M setup . Just keep on rollin!
