C&L power pipe

I just got my C&L power pipe in the mail. I paid $87 shipped for a brand new one, I think I got a good deal. Why are you not supposed to use the MAF bracket when you use this inlet pipe? How did you guys do yours? I plan on tapping it for my nitrous nozzle. What size tap should I use for my dry NOS nitrous nozzle?

The pipe is not a perfect fit for the stock support bracket, and most find you need to rotate the C&L air meter for best performance.

Most N2O nozzles are 1/8"NPT, although some of the smaller nozzles are 1/16"NPT.

I have the C&L mass air system as well. I like it. It seems to me that the metal inlet doesn't bend or conform like the stock rubber tube when the motor rocks. If you left the mass air brace attached...something has to give. I just got rid of the brace all together. Everything stays together just fine.

Ditch the bracket. This is a MAC housing with the stock sensor. 24 pound calibration
