Well, yet another bump in the road.

I got all my parts that I needed, everything assembled, torque converter installed on the trans(properly...turn and apply pressure...locked down three 3times), now I am ATTEMPTING to put it back in...problem...

The converter is a TCI converter. It has studs on it that have a little bit more diameter than the stock ones. I go to jack up the trans to put it into the car and can get two of the studs to line up with the flexplate, but the other two are being quite stubborn. They need to move a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of an inch to slide on, but they will not budge. I turn the engine, but it turns the torque converter because the other two studs are through. We shaked, wiggled, finaggled, cro barred, jacked, straight lined, etc...and those suckers just WOULD NOT GO THROUGH THE HOLE!!

I was thinking of just reeming the holes on the flexplate ever so slightly just to give enough clearance. Is this a good idea?

Any tips or tricks you guys (and gals) have that could help me out here?

Oh, and the nicely powdercoated bellhousing, and transpan...pffffft, that was a waste of time, they are all scratched up now from all the 'work' we have been TRYING to do today.

help me out here por favor.
