I've recently built a new engine and put new seals and vac modulator through the c4 box. I am finding that the gearbox is shifting at really low RPM's at WOT (~3800) which is very dissappointing considering that the roller 5.0 with trick flows will just be starting to get down to business at this point.

Is there any way I can change when the box shifts up? Is it possible to get it up to 5000-5500 rpms without a shift kit?

I can't remember the C4 too much, but isn't there a direct linkage from the throttle (pedal linkage) to the C4 kickdown that would keep the RPM's up at WOT?

Undo the vacuum line at the modulator valve. Hopefully, there is a place for a flathead screwdriver in there. Turning this will change your shift points.
