C4 to AOD swap

I have a C4 in my 70 mustang right now and what to witch to AOD does anyone have info on doing this swap?

A lot of people have done it. Do a search; do some research then ask what's up when you have questions

The early ones are best to swap because they don't need computer control.
However the early ones are the weak ones, so it is best to get one built.
Performance Transmission gets a lot of good press from folks.
TCI is said to be junk.
B&M is said to be a little better.

You'll need a new tranny crossmember (but use the C4 tranny mount on the AOD), the torque convertor for the AOD, kickdown cable from the AOD to the carb and shifter linkage from the AOD to you shifter. DO you plan on using the stock shifter or an aftermarket? Some guys have fabbed their own linkage, I purchased mine from CJ pony parts.
