Cable Clutch...... and pedals...

so here is where i am... i have a 69 mustang with a toploader... i just added a fox mustang power brake booster and i have a Fox mustang adjustable clutch cable and firewall adjuster.... i need to add or fabricate a clutch pedal quadrant with the correct geometry to pull the cable... does anyone have any idea as to the best way to make one or somewhere to buy one... i checked mustangsteve's website and it says his kit does not work with 69-70 due to firewall design..... soo in the middle of my conversion i am stuck.... please help... pics or measurements would be much appreciated

Just curious, why are you converting to a cable wth a toploader? If you have the stock bell and fork, it seems like it would be complicated to usea cable or you would have to change to a late model bell and fork so you can pull it...
I know you are knee deep into it, but you may want to consider a hydralic set up. THere have been a couple recent threads on this.

FYI - Steve recently purchased a '69 or '70 so he could mock up the cable setup. He'll have one for ship in a couple of months if you can wait.

I know a guy who put the Modern Driveline unit into his '70 Cougar and likes it very much.

i have already talked to mustangsteve... he was very helpful by sending me a pic of a custom quad.. i can make my own i just would rather purchase one that has been used before...

as for the reason i am looking to go with this setup.. the car originally was an auto, manual brakes, 2V 302... soo i bought a toploader 4 years ago for it..i dont have the linkage or bellcrank.... and eventually i might upgrade to a T56 (or something of that nature so purchasing the bellcrank and linkage would be a waste of money at this time.) but i have wayyy too much invested in this car already and enough parts to build it twice.. i know how to mod the fork and pivot ball to operate the cable and fork.. its just the connecting the cable to the pedals part thats getting me...

by the way.. i d love to invest more money into the car but i have had it since i was 16 (im going to be 23 in OCT.) the only original parts still on the car are the roof/trans tunnel/ drivers quarter panel... i have almost all new parts on the car as far as all the operating systems go (with the exception of the trans) and now have a little more than $27k into it... so now its about putting it back together and a little primer and paint... (yes i already have the paint/clear coat in cans at my house...)
