CAI or K&N FIPK

I have an 06 GT and LOVE it! I bought it a few months ago and it came with a K&N FIPK already installed. I have been reading in some other threads about how much difference this car is with a CAI and tune. I was wanting to get some opinions on whether it would be worth it or not to yank the FIPK and install a good CAI with tune. Would the $$ be worth the extra HP?

In my opinion, yes it would def be worth it. You will def feel a difference with a good tune, esp if it's an auto.

I'd say so, go with a C&L Racer or JLT with a custom tuned Xcal3 from a place like VMP Tuning.

K&N with a Tune

If you were worried about money, you can order a Tuner/Tunes from Brenspeed to be used with your K&N. Not sure on what the total cost would be, but thinking you could probably save approx. $200.

Also, the tunes make a world of difference, you won't be disappointed!
