I do see that you have a fenderwell mounted cai. I know that the MAF sensors do not like the 90* bend, but I don't think that it hisses or whines. Spray some carb cleaner around all of the fittings, bolts and hoses and see if it gets sucked in anywhere. Then tighten whatever it is.

While it is running, of course.

Well you tend to notice the sound of airflow is alot louder when you have a CAI. Just a guess.

With my Accufab TB and Dragon plenum, I have a constant whistle or whine. I was told it was perfectly normal with certain TB's.

I have the same system. It's just a suction of the air that you are hearing. It is normal with fenderwell intakes. My suggestion--> turn up your music and take your mind off it.

I have the BBk CAI (same as mack) and Accufab Plenum and TB, I have the same sound, it either goes away after about 6 months or you just get use to it. as long as you don't have a MIL, you're good.

I only really hear it when the hood is up, but you don't hear it much with it down.. and when your inside you can hear it a little.. I figured it would make the exhaust sound a little different but it doesn't.. Now I have my gears.. next to order is either my H pipe non catted or my underdrive pulley...

I have a Dragon Plenum and an Accufab Throttle body and was told since the Dragon plenum is dual chambered it will create a whistle sound..my sound only lasts for a few seconds while I am accelerating. Not sure if that is why yours is making the whistle..but its a good chance

If it's a light whistle, it's normal. Just recheck all your fittings to be sure.
