My car is currently non-op, and I'm ready to get it smoged and registered. Is the CA DMV smart enough to figure out I didn"t get one of those day passes to drive the car while non_op? I really don"t want to have to hassle going to the DMV to get the pass but I dont want to pay the fines and back registration even more
