I was trying to get my car smogged last night and they said my bov is not carb legal. I have the proflo unit that came with the procharger kit. Did they send me the wrong one? Is the bosch unit on their website the one I am supposed to have? Is the smog guy an idiot? He said mine is adjustable and that isnt legal in cali? How do i adjust it? I HATE CALIFORNIA SMOG LAWS!!!!

omfg those A-holes! I'm not sure about the BOV laws, but they should pass you visually because prochargers come with the CARB stamp. I would take it to another shop that is "test only".

Yeah, that sucks.I'm in Maryland and I just took mine in on Thurs. and was scared they would look under car and see no cats and want to look under hood, which means I'd have to lift the hood off to expose everything, but as long as the CEL isn't on and no stored DTC's I was good.
