Edit your post and dont use all caps,

then tell us your mods that you have done to your car.

some have done it. but it really depends on what else you have done to the car. I would just put the stock tune back in and drive it for at least 150 miles before the test because the smog station will be able to tell you have re-flashed the computer recently. or you could do pre test and see if it passes. that way you will kno if your gona fail or not before the real test. are you anywhere near modesto? if so i might have a smog hookup for you.

no i'm in SoCal, the only thing im worried about is that the obd2 scanner will recognize the diablo and fail me. but if i put it to stock the mph and rpm wont be what they are supposed to be cause of the gears...

there are only a handfull of scan tools out there that can detect a aftermarket tune and they are very expensive. take it somewhere and have them do a pre-test on it. or ask around for a smog hookup.

I'm running a tune tailored by MPH just to pass smog with VT cams and my mods, only the dealer can really detect the tune - you'll be fine assuming with your tune it can pass the particulate, C02 ect.

Man I am so glad that I do not have to deal with all of that smog testing.

How much do you guys have to pay to get it tested? If you fail then go back do you have to pay again?

you could also get a speed cal in order to get the speedo right if you want to reinstall the stock tune.

Its around 50 bucks. The place I was taking it if you failed it would be 16 to retake it after you fixed whatever is wrong. But darkside hooked me up so i dont have to worry about it anymore.

One thing that will help is geting the cats SUPER hot before the test (if you still have cats). Drive the car hard and get those cats really warm then take it to a gas station type smog place. As long as they smog it while the cats are hot you will pass the sniffer test. As far as the tune goes, as long as its not too far out from stock on the timing you should be fine.

As long as you don't have the rear O2 sensors deactivated in the tune you should be fine.

You can have them do a pretest to see if your numbers are close without them sending the results to the dmv. If you fail a certial number of times you will have to take it to the referee and its like 150 to see them.

It wont fit at all, I take it you have the V6 stang.

I never have been there but they have their own board so they are the ones to ask.

My suggestion before you get all caught up in there speed frenzy dreams is to get a V8 or keep your car stock. IT WILL NEVER BE FAST ITS MISSING 2 CYLENDERS goodluck buddy
