Post pics of your rims. I'm trying to decide what size I want and what style. I'm thinking either chrome 17X9 cobra 03 rims or chrome 18X9 saleen replicas.

Will the 18" rims slow me down a lot more compared to the 17" (quarter mile)?

I got 18x9, 18x10.5 chrome cobra replicas. They're heavy and slow. The width is nice though... looks badass from the back.

I'm wishing I had gotten some 17x10.5 deep dish Bullitts... maybe black like san~man's.

Horrible pictures My bad.

hmm...I'm not too sure about the 18" cobra rims. Do you guys think 18" is too big for racing? Eventually I'll get Slicks with really small wheels, but what size would be best for cruising?

Any one with 17" saleen rims?

Driveway has a killer curb. If I enter at the wrong angle, I either scrape my chin spoiler or exhaust.

That's at my parents house though. I'm a junior in college now and am spending less and less time there. I've been considering something minor... Eibach Pro-Kit or something like that maybe.

For now though, it's high, but that pic makes it look a lot worse. Weird lighting, uneven ground, etc.

i'm not so sure about the lowering thing anymore... after rubbing though my stock h pipe and busting my cat back off at the mall (yeah i took my cat back off with a set of vise grips and a mallet that i bought at sears) i set my coil overs at the stock height and i put my stock springs back on, i love it.. i can actually drive it without being a grannny over speed bumps and going into parking lots with a big incline

Since it's a black mustang thread, I have to post so I don't anger the forum gods.

My camera settings were a little screwed up when I took these pics, but they're the latest ones I've taken.

I'd say go with the Saleen's, in chrome. That pic above looks awesome. Hyperblack Saleens would be nice too. Chrome on black always looks good in my book.

18's might be a bit heavier, but I don't see it making that big of a difference in 1/4 times. 17's look good, but to me 18 is the perfect size for these cars.

Tone on Tone always looks great. you 99+ guys need all the help you can get to make the body lines appear cleaner; and color matched wheels do that.

^^are those 17's or 18's?

Guys if I want 18X9 will I need 275/35/18 or can I go with 40 sidewall? Will 18's rub if I lower it like 1.5" ?

The black FR500's look SICK on that black stang ! So do the Black bullits...I'm so confused as to what I want now

You ran 13.59 with LCA's, exhaust,gears, and short shifter? $hit man...not bad

But honestly, how much slower are they compared to 17's?
