What size tire are you running on the 17x10.5 inch wheels? I ordered two 17x9s for the front, and I would like to stay with the 245/45-17s, but out back I was thinking like 285, but I'm not sure if that is big enough for a 10.5 inch wide wheel. What do ya think???

245s will be way too narrow for a 9" wheel

255's up front work great, either 295's or 315's in the back.

Anything smaller than a 265 on the front will expose the lip of the rim (most tires have a vertical sidewall) and prone the rim to curbing.

If you look at Pughman's pictures, his tires offer very little sidwall protection for the rim lip. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but you gotta watch out when reversing into a stall with a high curb or pulling in to stalls where you can't see the curbs.

Just a word of caution.
