what would the symptoms be of being a tooth off on the cam and crank gear??
i have to the timing set at 10 still isnt running great dont have much power and takes forever to rev up occasionally it will backfire through the intake manifold this only happens from an idle when taking off
how many miles are on the engine? could possibly be timing chain. does your car have a maf? if so check the wires on the posts, maybe they are dirty. if its popping in the intake, its sounds kinda like a fuel issue, as if its leaning out perhaps
how about the dizzy? is it new or is it used? your pip might be a culprit. its probably not advanceing like it should, it also controls the pulsing of the injectors as well as the spark.
