I figure that the Nitrous is going to run me $550 and the Cam another $500. I don't think that I can come close to that on a supercharger setup.

Estimated numbers on Cam 30-35hp and a 125 shot puts me around 160-170hp. I'm not sure where the supercharger would put me.

What are your opinions? One versus the other?

Nitrous is great for massive torque and cheap speed. But refilling is a B1TCH, and the money adds up. Which is why I sold my n2o for my blower. If you look around on the forums, you can get a nice blower setup for around 2 grand.

I figure the Nitrous and Cam will give me great top end. I need something to make power on the bottom end. The nitrous window won't open until 3500-4000k as I don't want it pooling and I want it closed at 6500.

I guess my next question is, how should I make up for the missing power on the bottom end. I've got a 4.10 and wondering if I should go 4.30, but there has to be another power adder as well.

you will NOT be missing any bottom end power. N2O will spike your torque like crazy!!

i would get a s/c and then add nitrous later

I would also love to have a s/c but nitrous is fun also and i wouldn't be using it all the time so cost wouldn't really bother me too much. I want to get as much out of the motor as i can without a power adder and then for when i'm feeling frisky i got the n20. Some day i'll go s/c but that'll be the day i get a Termi. I'll just spray the gt and leave the boost to the slobra.

IMO, go with the blower if you can afford it, here's why I say that.

I installed the 6 psi KB on my 99 GT, on my last trip up to the Smokie Mountains (1200 mile round trip) it got 23 miles per gallon and no less that 21mpg. An added bonus is that in the rare air, the HP doesn't drop off like the N/A cars. You won't be able to do that with a cam although the N2O would help if you could carry enough of it.
But, your situation might be different
