So here is an update, I got the heads off today and realized I don't have a harmonic balancer puller, I made a run to pep boys to get that and a complete gasket set. I got the puller, but they didn't have the gaskets. I the went to mustangs unlimited and got the gasket set where I proceeded to argue with my buddy and the guy that I couldn't get VCs tonight, that I had to wait for another paycheck. We then went to BK where we got 2 triple whoppers with cheese, 2 whopper jrs w/ cheese, and 2 chocolate pies between us.

And now I am back and about to pull the HB and the cam. Hopefully I'll have the cam in tonight, then the heads checked out tomorrow before work at 4.

W/o further a due, the pics:

Is this normal?? A little lean maybe??

Look at the diff in port sizes!!

Nah man I get out of school at 2 and I work at 4. Wed. and thurs. I work 3 to 10. I am hoping to have the nitrous and all the bugs worked out by friday night at midnight so I can roll down to the local meets.

Friday night before the tear down I got roasted by a Mazda Speed 6. Don't remember hw much boost, but it is the only speed 6 in GA w/ a front mount I/C, made 290hp to all wheels!!!

Also got smoked by an 03 cobra, lol. Both were hwy runs so, f/i>all.

Wish I was sprayin

This cam is pretty similar, but it favors the exhaust side a little more. Should work beautifully w/ spray

i wish i had a cam...most likely its gonna stay stock motor this year while i do the 5 lug, paint, and finish the interior and hopefully swap to a 5 speed later in the year...ya like that will happen

till then i think it sounds ok.

take a clip like i did after you get ir running...( comparison ) stock with full exhaust vs H/C/I with full exhaust.

Nice man, makes me wish I could start my hci project all over again. Its real fun to do. The parts look amazing, I like the comparison pics of the ports. Just a question, how do the ports on the intake compare to the heads? You may want to get them matched if there is a big difference. I regret everyday not saving up for some aluminums.

I did it in another thread, but here it is:

Heads: 600 plus 30 shipping, new direct from Patriot(deal through stangnet thread I started asking about them)
Cam: 150 used local
RRs: 125 used local
ARP head bolts:appx. 100
Gasket set: 85 dollars
intake: I bought an explorer engine and parted it out, I got it for 100 bascially
70mm TB: 5 dollars(I bought some tires from 88gtstreetrod and he was asking 75 bucks for like new toyos, I bought them and he said he had it lying around so I gave him 80 and didn't ask for change!!)
65mm EGR spacer I ported out a little bit to match: FREE courtesy of wythors, he even paid for shipping
70mm MAF: 17 dollars(JY) + adaptor free from Slow95GT
Nitrous plate wet kit(now this is where I really went all out): 550 for kit + purge, I then added heater, bottle blanket etc for another 50 local, I am and always will be running a 150 shot.
Summit Racing headers: 140(pretty damn good quality if you ask me)
O/r H-pipe:120
Flowmasters: appx. 250
E-fan: appx. 100
Tri-ax shifter:180
3.73 gears+trac lock rebuild(labor by me): 300
Walbro 255lph $110

Totaled up that is $3002.
And that is just performance stuff. I have a total of like 10,000 dollars in a receipt folder.

That's about it. I have had a bunch of hook ups and I will go ahead and thank everybody on this site and off it, my car would have never been at this point if it wasn't for the awesome Mustang community we have.

You should really get someone to trade you that nitrous kit for a top of the line name brand intake like you were gonna do, Im sure you can find someone else on corral to do that, and you'd benefit a lot more from a good intake than a nitrous kit imo.

Lol I know I have to bump that thread on the local boards. Although this is a pretty mild cam and I think the power band of all 3 together is pretty well matched. It is going to be a beast on the streets!!

Use your exploder intake for now. I'll have a TFS track heat intake for sale sometime this spring or summer if you're interested.

Ryan PM me if you want a decent cam. I can hook you up.
