better think about a short block first. i know one guy right now with blower cams and and s trim on a stock shortblock, i am always waiting to hear about it crapping out

Afriend of mine added @ 75rwhp with Fox Lake P&P heads and comp cams 262ah's. He's now @ 425rwhp with 8lbs of boost from a Vortech. He's about to replace his shortblock soon and really crank up the boost.

MPH 2.5's and custom grinds. Only way to fly.

Why buy heads/cam and make 300rwhp when you could just buy a blower and make atleast 75rwhp more.

yea this is for a blown car. i added ported heads and custom blower cams from fox lake. picked up 35rwhp 21rwtq. i dont have my blower yet, your power will be much better with the blower.

that is awsome, i hope i put down that much power on 8 psi. i have almost the same heads and cams as your friend.

maybe some people would buy h/c so they can make 300rwhp and top it of with a 125kit....why are you concerned?

Am I reading this correct, they where only producing 350rwhp with 8psi of boost, and needed heads and cams to brake through the 400rwhp barrier??

I shore hope thats on a Mustang dyno.

what are you talking about. on 8 psi the car is very lucky if the put down 400rwhp on a dynojet. most 9psi kb kits are just making 400 rwhp. some are under some are over. this guy is putting 425 down that is way beyond 400.

yup thats right..he was making @ 230rwhp before the blower and gained @120rwhp from the vortech with mimimal boltons. when he was @350rwhp he was on a conservative tune and still is now @425rwhp. After he builds up his bottom end i'm sure he will crank it up.

yeah, but thats 400+ with heads and cam, which was worth 75rwhp apparantly. I know it's all in the tune and other mods and like I said what dyno?

If it's making 425 on a Mustang then a dynojet would be more like 435-450.

As for KB, there are plenty of guys 'claiming' to make 420+ on 9spi with only minor bolt ons no heads or cams.
